| Love my air fryer. Quick and easy to clean up! |
| I was annoyed a few years ago when my mom got me one because it was so big and ugly and took up precious counter space. As usual, she was right and I love it and use it all the time. It's great for heating up leftovers that would take forever in the oven and heat up the kitchen, like fries, pizza, burgers or burritos. |
Yes, our little Breville oven does everything! Love it. |
| I got one for Christmas but never used it. Left it out in the curb. |
The breville oven is cool but it is not little! It’s huge! I was given one but I simply don’t have room for it. It’s easily twice the size of our old toaster oven and given the heat, it really needs ample space for ventilation. I actually think it ought to be under a vent hood. I could see it as a replacement for our full sized oven but I can’t imagine ever having room for it. Even if I had a huge house and kitchen I would want it to be built in somehow like a wall oven I guess. |
| I have an air fryer/toaster oven and use it far more than the oven. It's much, much faster. |
I agree that the little single purpose air fryers are stupid. We had one and got rid of it pretty quickly. I also think OP that you should be asking this question about the Instant Pot. It's anything but instant and is huge and doesn't do any of its jobs well. I'd rather have a separate pressure cooker and slow cooker. |
New PP that also doesn't have a microwave. We make popcorn on a stove, use an electric kettle or regular kettle for water, and we rarely heat up milk but if we do its for hot chocolate and we just make in a small pot. |
We don’t make microwave popcorn, but would just do it on the stovetop with kernels if the occasion ever presented itself. I use a tea kettle for hot water, sauce pan for milk. We did have friends come over recently with a baby who thought we’d have a microwave to heat up their food, but that was the only issue we’ve ever had. |
| I am not thrilled with our toaster oven air fryer, but I appreciate using it like a mini oven. So I can make a good side while using the oven for the entree. |
| My MIL gifted me the Cuisinart two in one toaster over / air fryer from Costco recently and I really don't care for it. Everytime I try to airfry something it burns. And it's small, which yes, is nice, but.. it's small. Right now I'm toasting bagels and that's it. Don't get the hype. |
This is where I’m at. All of them look to have cheap nonstick coating inside. |
The single purpose air fryers work much better than the toaster-oven style ones. Instant Pots do a good job of pressure cooking, making rice, and making yogurt. They are not good at slow cooking. |
I use my instant pot everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. |
| The one gadget I use everyday is my Indian-made pressure cooker. Hawkins Futura. |
