My friends in Europe have kids going to school from 8 am to 1 pm, going on a weeklong meditation retreat, and they are still learning content a few grade levels above my FCPS kids (also, all essays, no multiple choice). It’s not the llamas (which I think are great).

Our child typically hitches his therapy alpaca to the bike rack in front of school each morning (except once when he left it on the bus, but that's a story for another thread), but I entirely understand why others may want to bring theie therapy alpacas into the classroom. Glad that FCPS accommodates them.
