Restaurant hacks ?

I've been broke before, and even when you're broke you want a treat now and then, I get it. But good god, instead of embarrassing yourself in public eat a few extra lentil or pasta struggle meals at home before you go out so you can just order a regular meal.

I tip generously at restaurants and through delivery services. I am always polite and express gratitude to servers and delivery people. I don’t order kids’ meals for adults. I don’t bring outside food. I don’t ask for two plates. I will not order more food than we need, however. That’s wasteful.

People who order tea and cake aren’t entitled to silverware or a napkin? They are paying customers. Who eats cake with their hands? You’re crazy.

There was a lawsuit filed against Starbucks for misleading people about the size of their iced drinks because of the amount of ice they use. I thought Starbucks themselves told customers to order their ice separately if they’re upset about how their drinks are made.

If you ever eat McDonald’s, order from the app. There’s almost always a deal for $1 fries or free fries with a chicken sandwich, etc. I sometimes park in the lot and do an app order then go through the drive thru if it’s a spontaneous trip with my kid.

Restaurant owner here. Yes you should just stay home if you're trying to hack a kids meal into an adult's meal. Kids meals are loss leaders that at offset by the accompanying adult meal. Plus you are taking up a table. I don't understand why you are dragging old people into your scheme. We love our customers of all ages!

Kids meals are HUGE money makers . You can't tell me you're not turning a profit off of a $7.99 kids meal thats a mere 2 chicken tenders and a small scoop of fries

No issue with this, as long as you eat and leave. Don't linger like you're doing a multi-course meal. Of course I would never say this to you and would hope this is obvious.
