I second or third the posts about using Glycolic acid wipes. They really help kill the bacteria.
Also most deodorant build up on your skin. I use a loofah daily, but twice a week use a sugar scrub with oil to make sure all residue is removed. If I use a glycolic wipe after using the scrub, I don’t need to use deodorant for the day until I shower again. |

| Certain Dri anti-perspirant. Just don’t use it on broken skin like right after you’ve shaved your armpits. I use Certain Dri at night and regular deodorant during the day. And avoid wearing shirts/tops made of synthetic fabrics, stick with cotton or linen as much as possible because they are a lot more breathable than polyester. Synthetic fabrics tend to hold body odor and then that just compounds the problem because then your clothes are smelly too. |

I haven’t had quite OP’s level of problem (yet) but realized about five years ago that I wasn’t washing as much of my armpit as I needed. The glycolic acid or salicylic acid would probably work well, I’m not saying don’t do that, but increase the area you clean. Also, I was in the process of using one of those home IPL hair remover (not 100% perfect! but I like the effect!) and realized that I was going weeks without antiperspirant, and I have always been someone who absolutely needs antiperspirant and not just deodorant. I am assuming that the IPL is strong enough to kill bacteria. |
| miraDry done in a doctor's office. was about $2,000 a few years ago for my daughter. She had excellent results after nothing else worked. Recommend it highly. |
| I apply some rubbing alcohol when there's a stink that I can't wash out from my armpits. It works miracles! |
