Netflix: The Night Agent

I bailed in the middle of the first episode. It's pure drivel. The lead female character is especially annoying.

+1. Agreed. I quite liked it.

Talk about glow up. The actor Peter was vaguely familiar to me in a really dorky way every time he opened his mouth. Then I saw he played the weird teen son Adam in a really great show The Big C w/ Laura Linney (newly diagnosed with The Big C - melanoma) and her husband played by Oliver Platt. Such a good, a bit quirky show with a wonderful story arc and ending.

It is fiction, not the History Channel —lighten up!

That was The Night Manager, much better actors and totally different plot. Do try to keep up or keep quiet.

It might not be the History Channel, but it would help not to have things like that--hey, let's have series with major shipping events in Pittsburgh!

Spoiler Alert-

I was SO sad it ended with him saying, I’ll call you??!??

What 😕

After all they had been through/accomplished. Didn’t he think she was cool? She saved his life more than once.

Why does career trump that? (I suspect they did that to allow for a second season. But he did not even act torn.)

(And I would have liked them to show him apologizing to his godfather, who had been right about his father).

***Spoiler alert***

I understand what you mean about the ending, but those two have zero chemistry. My prediction: he lands in Europe (maybe Rome? Remember when the VP’s daughter said she might head to Rome to study art?). If Rose is in the next season, then she will be a computer hacker expert assisting remotely.

I think they need to introduce new supporting characters. Although the head contractor bad guy is still alive, right?

And why didn’t they show Rose at a new job? Instead of just sitting on the car watching him fly away? They could have wrapped up her story better. But I really enjoyed the show. It was a great plane binge.

Lamest show on Netflix but I can’t look away.

Yes! He’s well-equipped to have a good career based on this role. Ditto for the Asian lady.

Rose looks like the actress who played the Indian from the Twilight series who was also in the Dexter reboot.

There was an Indian in Twilight?

In some shots Rose reminds me of the Indian girl in 1923 (can't remember the character's name). I think the actress is from New Zealand.

She is probably Maori which is Native in NZ.

Why do people keep writing "Indian" and not "Native American"?? Are you living under rocks or something?

Why would a Maiori be called Native American?!
