She’s a New Zealander. And the first pp said she looked like “the Indian in Twilight” — who knows what she meant. |
| I’m the PP another by the geographical inconsistencies. Just finished watching all 10 episodes. Really liked it although could have done with a steamy sex scene towards the end. |
| Annoyed by, above. ( not another) |
|
| I just started episode 3 and so bored. Does it get any better or should I bail? |
| The acting is pretty terrible. Downright awful. |
Actress Julia Jones played Leah Clearwater in the Twilight series; she was also in Dexter: New Blood. The actress who plays Rose looks like her. |
She doesn't look anything like her |
They both have black hair and otherwise look nothing alike. Unless you think all "Indians" look the same. |

I mean they are not going for the Oscar. It's just an entertaining show, no more or less. How much great acting are you looking for? It was enough action that it moved. It's a totally implausible storyline - just enjoy it for what it is. Manage your expectations dude! |

SPOILER
I liked it. Felt like a low rent Jason Bourne. I liked both main characters, and their friendship chemistry. But they had ZERO romantic chemistry. That kiss was weirdly timed—no sexual tension at all. Wish they had skipped that storyline completely. |
| I didn’t realize that the chief of staff is Hong Chau, nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar this year. |
|
I watched the series over the weekend and enjoyed it for what it is: entertainment. Improbable and/or impossible situations? Yes. But that's true about many shows and movies.
|
| I binge watched it and thought it was good. Similar in feel to The Recruit in that it’s decent acting, good production quality and decent writing. B+ series. I would watch a second season. |
