Comments like this are so stupid. Do you realize there is inflation globally?

Another idiotic statement. Even the fancy jumbo eggs I got from MOM’s were only $6 a dozen.

Thankfully Biden’s doing a better job mitigating it than other world leaders. It’s tough mopping up for Trump’s failed economic policies.

Tp - $ 20
Sushi - $9
Chili - $6
Sandwich $7

I mean it’s restaurant prices from a few years ago. Am I crazy to be shocked by this?

Its crazy. You'll be better off buying ingredients and cook fresh and clean food.

Butter is $6. Can of tomatoes pieces is $1.50. Coffee is 30% higher. Bread whole wheat is $5.79. English muffins are $5.60.
A small bag of spinach is $4. Yes prices are much higher. Those are groceries. Yes you can by cheaper groceries somewhere but that’s Giant.

We average $350 twice a month for a family of three plus one cat and one dog. I shop at Harris Teeter and Amazon Fresh. People on welfare must be struggling if we are complaining about the price of groceries.

I buy Kerrygold butter from Costco ( 4 x 8 oz sticks) because I love this brand and the taste of it. The price used to be for it 11 or 12$; now is 14$ or so; and it doesn't go on promotion sale like it used to. I normally would stock up and keep it in the freezer when it was on sale. Now, I feel like I'm paying 50% more for it compared to 3 years ago.

I stopped shopping at Giant or Safeway - I buy my groceries at Aldi's, Lidl and H-Mart. Big difference in price.

Went to Aldi today. Got 1 lb. butter for $2.50, dozen organic eggs for $3.59, 1 lb. pistachios for $4.99, 2 avocados for 49 cents each, 5 lb. bag of gold potatoes for $3.99, 3 lb. bag sweet potatoes for $2.49, 1 pt. strawberries for $1.59, and an 8 oz. container of hummus for $2.49. All of that for $23.

I also stopped at Trader Joes recently and got 4 cans of organic black beans for $1.19 each.

Doofus, people on welfare are, by definition, always struggling.

Yeah, tell that to Larry Summers, a prominent Democrat economist who called the American Rescue Plan -- enacted at the beginning of Biden's term and coinciding almost perfectly with the massive uptick in inflation -- the "least responsible macroeconomic policy in 40 years."

Gosh I forget how bad prices are in America until I see posts like this and am reminded... geez. Those numbers are crazy.
