Tucker Carlson hypes Kremlin Agitprop as defacto Putin mouthpiece in US

Don't even act like it didn't happen. Biden campaigned on killing oil any way he could and hist first week EO's did a lot of the damage to Russia's delight.

Ok, I don't really agree with your reasoning but even if I did, why do you think Tucker Carlson such a vocal supported of Russia/Putin?

Do you think he's paid by the Kremlin? Why would he do Putin's bidding?

NP. No, but he’s figured out that there’s a lot of hay to be made by entertaining discussions about taboo topics. But even then honeypot should still be avoided.

The Ukrainian war is a bigger mess than we are told (simple version: when did you last hear about casualties in this war of attrition?), but Tucker still isn’t worth listening to for other reasons.

Certainly Ukraine has had significant losses. But every single piece of open source intel shows that Russia's losses have been significantly higher than Ukraine's - and that Russia's rate of loss has gone up significantly. They have now lost more troops in Bakhmut alone than in the entire rest of the war. Even NATO has assessed Russia's losses in Bakhmut to be 5:1 - 5 Russian KIA for every 1 Ukrainian KIA. Some analysts are even saying it's now 7:1. Russia is also losing vastly more via injuries and other factors as well.

And we know for a fact that the figures Russia and pro-Russia propagandists tout are utterly, completely, ludicrously wrong. For example, Russia claimed it downed more Ukrainian jets than Ukraine even had in the first place - and Ukraine still has jets in operation. Also, Oryx has visually documented a huge number of pieces of Russian equipment as destroyed or captured, vastly more than Russia admits.

How do the populations and size of militaries compare? 5-1 or 10-1 losses are good, but overall Ukraine does not have that many troops to lose.

Russia is already struggling to find people who they can get to serve. Along with a lack of people to train the ones they send to war. And, Russia's functional capabilities are also already suffering. There are already stories of flights grounded because they didn't have enough pilots, plants closing because they didn't have enough workers and so on. Huge numbers of Russians have also fled Russia to avoid having to serve. Not to mention Russia's many logistical hurdles outside of manpower.

Ukraine meanwhile has had the opposite, they have a steady influx of foreign volunteers coming in, they have the support of numerous countries to help train soldiers and so on.

Ukraine has had a big influx of foreign volunteers

+1. Russia's population, especially men, are not the healthiest. Covid hit hard. Alcoholism is sky high.

PP, compare public health indicators in Ukraine to Russia prewar.

There is no material difference in life expectancy in Ukraine vs Russia.

See, you lost me here. Russia/Putin has been planning this for more than a decade. All the other dominos fell according to plan. They were never staying home . They just thought, with TFG in charge, winning would be easier.

This makes no sense. They waited til Trump was gone. If they thought it would be easier then, why didn't they do it then?

The Russians also saw j6 and thought republicans would rally to Russia. It just took a little longer but republicans are fully supportive of Russians action.

Some are but many aren't. It's important to remember that.

No.

There is a long distance from being gung ho on defending Ukraine and supporting Russia. Quit gaslighting.

Most Republicans are supportive of Ukraine--they just don't want us to get into a war.

And, having been in Cold War Germany for years, it is time for Germany to step up with NATO. Maybe, they are doing better, but they are not there yet.

Don't want to get into a war? Ludicrous. These are the exact same Republicans who were good with eternal neverending war in Afghanistan and who got upset about the withdrawal.

Pretty sure that Trump was trying to get us out of Afghanistan. We had few soldiers there and no deaths the year before, I think. He for sure would not have left all that equipment there.

There were no deaths because he and Pompeo negotiated with the Taliban and guaranteed and exit that he left to Biden to clean up. And how benefits from the US out of Afghanistan? Russia.

Please stop being so obtuse.

There were lots of people in both parties that did not want to withdraw from Afghanistan, and were successful in blocking Trump and Biden's intentions. Biden blew up and ordered an immediate withdrawal.

You lost me with this. It is pretty well known the leaker was Richard Armitage. Sad that Wikipedia hasn't updated.

As for 'Patel Systems', Patel is a very common Gujarati name, so I'm having a hard time believing they only found two such companies. Most motels are owned by someone named Patel.

Tucker puts up absurd commentary that you just can't believe and then shows you the video proving what he says.

Stop defending the indefensible. Don't put yourself in the position where Tucker can comment about it in the first place, but you do.

And then you get indignant after giving him the ammo.

Perfect example: If you're president, don't brag about how you're going to blow up the Nordstream II pipeline, then do it, and then make up elaborate stories that fall apart trying to deny the obvious?

How about you focus on facts and not yelling Russia! anytime you screw up?!! You are unserious people. This whole administration has become a joke.

+1 and why do so many Republicans echo his statements?

The point is that Cheney seems to have packed his staff with people 'sympathetic' to the right-wing agenda. The leaker may have been Armitage, or just Armitage was the one caught? Quite the coincidence that Patel of the Daily Caller was a 'bird of a feather'?

Trying to bin the blame on Biden for Russia invading Ukraine is just bonkers and doesn't stand up to any kind of serious logic or thought.

Even crazier is Carlson's contention that the US should take the side of Russia instead of Ukraine - he's completely unhinged.

This sums it all up:

Unrelated directly, but related to Carlson’s inability to be decent, he has defended Warren Jeffs. This man is terrible.

Tucker Carlson won’t apologize for his ‘misogynistic’ comments on statutory rape — or his defense of Warren Jeffs

Unless someone is really in the propaganda tank, finding out Tucker’s take on Jeffs really seals what a snitbag he is.
