Great, no one asked you.

Ok fine. Yes, OP should tell her husband knowing he will want to cancel this terrible sounding trip.

You're not invited, so your input is meaninglesd.

OP literally asked, and I quote “Do I confess, knowing he'll insist on canceling?”

I was merely answering the question posed in the OP.

Reading comp is hard, I know.

No one asked what you think of the vacation itself.

I feel similarly. This vacation is not a tasty cup of tea. Sorry, not sorry.

Ok? I'm looking forward to it.

Even if your spouse is miserable?

He won't be happy with the accommodations, which isn't your beef. I happen to enjoy art museums, and he agreed to the itinerary going in. I've not traveled much since covid, and he told me to plan what would bring me joy.

Did you enjoy New Haven, OP?

US or elsewhere?

St. Louis

Why did you book it in a neighborhood that you knew your DH most likely wouldn't tolerate?

Reading PA?
Detroit?
Camden NJ?
Niagara Falls (NY side)?
Baltimore?
