Usually when people say they are disgusted by wokeness, they are not really responding to actual, real wokeness.

They are bothered by either
A. performative wokeness (virtue signaling) or
B. Things done in the name of wokeness that actually marginalize or take away from others in some way (non race blind admissions, biological men in women’s sports, etc)
