1) DCE
2) VLC
3) NL
4) TRW
5) ML

The top three could beat each other any given day.

There are a couple of toxic attack families who will be an impediment to whatever team they end up on having success.

Sorry, not correct DCE can take any of these teams on any given day.

After tomorrow, NL will have a stronger and deeper roster than DCE. last time DCE played VLC they got killed. And don't count out MaxLax either; there are a lot of great players between here and Texas. DCE is a very strong team but they would have to work hard to beat any of those three.

The shakeout from this is going to be interesting. If NL is smart, and ruthless, they will make this a really tight roster of about 20 players. College coaches will flock to watch that team and most or all of the 20 will get recruited.
Then the players not taken can disperse to NL Red, ML Capital, and ML DMV.
players outside the 20 will be making calls to VLC and DCE, but those teams are pretty loaded in terms of quantity and quality.
I would love to be a fly on the wall at tomorrow's tryout.

Freshman 2026 parents are funny play for NL ML VLC or DCE and if your kid is good they will be seen. The other clubs just don’t get access to the right events.

All MadLax cares about is its "national" team. I'm sure they have kids from Texas, Ohio and California already lined up to fill any open roster spots.

agree with your statement about the national teams.

As long as Cabbell has families willing to pay for his capital and blue teams, he doesn't care, he is still making $$$.

For any players displaced from all this shifting Hammers are having tryouts this weekend.

Why is NL even holding a tryout now? Haven’t these families paid and committed to the summer 2023 season?

Correct. In particular if you’re at a legit HS. This is all so stupid. Parents getting in the way.

So true, if you are at the top tournaments Sophomore summer the sidelines will be crowded with college coaches. They don't care who wins or loses but want to see kids play against the type of competition that they are recruiting for. The best way to look good that summer is to play as a TEAM where defense and offense work together as a unit. Going to a lesser program like Hammers is recruiting suicide at this point but so it playing on a team with a bunch of ball hogs/attention seeking non-team players (with parents fueling this fire) that turns into showcase play when the coaches are there. It is a lot of pressure playing in front of loaded sidelines but that is when solid coaching and player character really shine. Less chest bumping is always good as well.

That is a very good question. If you add a bunch of players to a full roster, you can offer refunds and cast players out, or carry a ridiculous big roster. Anybody heard what they are doing?

I disagree about Hammers they are excellent at getting kids to D3 programs. They target the right events. Now is the time to be realistic about goals. Better to be a top player at Hammers then ride the bench on a club full of D1 recruits.
