What's going on with MadLax 2026

true, except that there has been a steady migration from Madlax to VLC over the past couple of years, to the point where MadLax would be a pretty big step down. I can't envision anyone from VLC wanting to join ML.

Agree over the last two years seems like 5-6 players have headed to VLC and the others clearly headed to NL. Great opportunity for others to step up and join the remaining players that at this time do not even have enough to play a summer schedule with out some more bodies.

I’m watching this thread with amusement. My son was recruited and committed his junior year to a D1 program, but he’s also a 3.8uw student with 1580 SATs and a boat load of APs and DEs. He applied to a bunch of schools anyway and got into a T10 engineering program EA and promptly decomitted. I’m glad he’s going to have a great college experience free from the grueling practice schedule of a sport that has no future and frankly nobody cares about.

It’s crazy how little emphasis you people put on education.

Sorry to hear that your son lost the interest to play D1 ball. But sounds like he is on a good path and it will work out fine for him in the end.

Well looks like they both will be playing this weekend at Platinum Cup but not in the same pool. If they (NL) have learned to play together in a short period they have a weak line up playing WCS, BBL and HOCO. ML will play Texas Nationals, MadDog, Crabs. Ouch.

Pool play predictions:

ML 1-2
NL 3-0

Shame this is in DE would pay to see these two play against each other.

Ah, BBL and WCS are actually pretty good teams at that age group. It is a bummer that NL and ML aren't in the same group, would love to see that grudge match.
