Pitt v Penn State?

^ quibbling about 76 vs 62 or 66 vs 60 is petty. These rankings are not accurate; no college rankings are. So stop relying on the to “prove” one college is better than another. Just go with whichever is the better fit for your circumstances and stop agonizing over finding objective truth in rank ordering colleges. There isn’t one.

You may be right, but when it comes to business the only thing that matters is what %age of kids in each year are getting internships and the quality of the internships and how many kids are getting FT jobs at graduation, within 6 months and the quality of those jobs.

I don't know the answer...but the rankings are close enough that they honestly don't matter.

Aside from the huge difference in campus and setting, I'd view this as a toss up. Have one at PSU. For that one, even if the atmosphere difference were not important, the academic program made it a no brainer in their case.

From a Southerner, PSU is just wonderful! The campus id gorgeous and the kids are happy. The kids love the sports but also love Thon! If you don't know Thon, google it.

Great spirit and pride of PSU! It's fun to see my kid there!
