Yes, it's the same as any MCPS HS and offers excellent academic opportunities for those who are inclined and a wide variety of rigorous courses.

That is simply false. I have had one kid at the RMIB and one kid at the home school IB. HUGE differences in the quality of teachers, in the amount of work and in the cohort of kids. There is no comparison.

Not just that! Look at what percentage of kids actually complete the IB diploma diploma at RMIB versus at another school. There is a difference.

LOL. Yes, that's a factually correct statement. Sadly, due to other factors, not all IB programs produce the same results.

MCPS currently has a shortage of teachers. Lots of high schools are suffering and not all the IB programs are staffed as well as the RMIB is staffed - FMIB has some fantastic teachers who have been doing (and enjoying) their jobs for a long time.
