West Coast chiming in. Allbirds were the thing pre-pandemic here, but now it’s just grandpas wearing them to school pickup to fetch their grandchildren and to the grocery store.

I was the pro-Allbird poster. People in DC compliment me on mine a lot. I have the ones that are running shoes though, not slip ons (if it matters? maybe they're equally uncool?). I'm a woman. What do people wear instead? Like I said I'm in my 30s.

I’m 40s and I love my allbirds. This is DC, not CA. They’re ok here.
