Planning to get a small cotton candy machine for DH’s cousins children, is this a bad idea?

BAD IDEA!! I'd be so pissed off.

For those who would not want this cotton candy machine, what type of joint gift works best for these ages? (the family is exchanging joint gifts for children so our children would receive a joint gift of some sort in return)

My kid loves getting gift certificates for his favorite ice cream place.

Please don't get my kids any type of kitchen appliance! Either board games or a large puzzle would be fine for a joint gift.

Terrible idea

Chop chop magazine and aprons?

This. We’d donate to the school or church.

Ok Grinch.

No more board games! Amazon or Target gift cards!

I’m one of the PP who hated the idea. You know the only appliance my kids regularly have used over the years? The magic bullet or the ninja. They make tons of smoothies and have been using these from the time they were little though making protein shakes as teens.

This isn’t a fun gift to open but would be the only kitchen appliance that wouldn’t be donated in my house.

Ok back to say thanks Pps. You all are making me smile with your suggestions and comments. I was apparently an appliance house - ezbake oven, snoopy cone machine (yep, the retro original one), ice cream maker that took salt but I did not have board games. It seems like an either-or type home experience for us all.
