So Hutchings is generally supportive of charter schools (we know he and Alderton are big fans of private schools)? If he wasn't, why would he be speaking to this group? Also, what is he going to say to an organization focused on better outcomes for special ed kids? He literally locked the door to all the special ed kids even though parents were begging for their kids to have in person. |
This is one of the more far-fetched ideas I’ve read on this site. Are you okay? |
Parents, including ones in volunteer positions, have been treated the same as any other parent when it comes to being informed of a sexual assault on school grounds. All parents were kept in the dark. As frustratingly not transparent the district was on the issue, they may very well have been compliant with the law if the incident did not rise to the level of needing to be reported. Even without an intentional cover-up, with everything happening in LCPS, why would anyone have thought it was a good idea to sit on the information and let the community find out through other avenues later. |
Agree going after parents will never happen. But Governor and AG definitely coming after board and council if they can. That’s why not a peep from them on the Times article. |
I am not that poster, and don't think that a grand jury is appropriate. However, I take issue with you characterizing the problem as whether people "like" the PTA members/PTAC. I like mine fine in terms of seeing them out and about and making small talk. But this is not a personal issue, it is a policy issue. |
I doubt anything happens. It's well know that Alexandria and its leaders are a punchline in Richmond & that opinion existed pre-Youngkin administration. Alexandria is too far gone & voting Alexandrians are clearly ok with that.
After fighting for ACPS and all kids for years and years, I now realize it was a total waste of time. Either get your kids out or exploit the system. |
