What is your sign off for work emails?

I use "Thanks," or "Thank you." I'd like to use Best more, but it seems impertinent.

AMEN!

I’ll be watching you…..

I work in a very dysfunctional organization so I start group emails with ‘Hi Team’ because no one actually works together or collaboratively. It’s my middle finger in the air to their foolishness

I end like this.

BR/

Signature block

End communications

I use "Thank you" or just a dash.

See, I don't get "thank you." What are you thanking me for?

Ok, then

Later, haters

Your sister in corporate servitude

Make it stop

I'd work with you!

Fellow elder millenial and I agree. This is boomer posturing.

In doubt, end an email chain with "ttyl" or "ciao" for a european flair.

But the real answer is, do this in teams/slack/skype so you dont have to consider this nonsense.

Best is classy. Thanks sounds like the waiter.

It’s a military thing, although the correct version is “V/r” because the second word wouldn’t be capitalized.

'Best' is indeed the worst

Regards unless there is something I should actually be thanking the recipient for, in which case I end it with thanks.

Usually “thanks” or a dash by my name. On Fridays, depending on who, it’s usually “Have a great weekend!”

I used to do Thanks. I switched jobs and decided to give that shit up.

No closure. Just the email and depending on audience, my signature. It works because we are a Slack-heavy culture, so more clipped messages are the norm. My last company was email heavy.

Yep. Came from a kind of behind the times company with an average age probably in the late 40s... lots of email etiquette. Now at a tech company and none of that. Look at what your peers and bosses are doing OP.
