Kind regards
Thank you (if warranted)
Take care (I’m in HR so this comes up)

I’m over “best.” I stick with “thanks” or nothing at all

Best or thanks so much.

Best, usually. If more formal to a client or something - "Best regards". If I am asking for something -- "Thanks"

Best regards for most external emails

Internally - just a space and then my name if I don't know them well, Thanks if it's to support staff, or nothing at all if we message frequently.

V/r for customers (dod gov). Best or cheers for internal stuff.

Email SOP dictates that we use "Kind regards,"

Thanks!

V/R

Some days I wish I could put Kindly GFY.

I'm all for email brevity so just a hyphen and my name. If I need to add a TY or other message I do.

I also don't use the person's name as an introduction on a singular email. The message is to them alone and they know who they are so no need for "Good morning Joe" or "Dear Betty"

Thanks 99% of the time (internal)

"best" or "thanks." I prefer nothing, but have been told I can be "terse" so feel obliged to put something. I love it when an email chain evolves to the point were we can skip the salutation and sign off and just talk business. People who reply "Dear Larla,..." to the 4th email in the chain are the worst.

internal I use a dash/hyphen then my name

thanks if I'm asking someone for something
