FSM forbid we should have an opportunity to listen to someone with whom we disagree. All we are doing is yelling at each other and no one is convincing another to change their tightly held beliefs. Maybe if we stopped to listen to those that do not fit within our very narrow view of the world, we might learn something.

Should we all learn about corruption and inconsistently applied rationale?

Well said.

You are ignorant. GW Law asked him to stay on. He was a giant snowflake + quit. BTW- GW Law is ranked #25 on USNWR. Stop trashing it.

Right.... We are now living in a world where a minority's opinion is being thrust upon a majority after fifty years of law. I'm not sure how much we have to learn from a group of people who believe I have no right to determine my own care and may now strip me of other ones. Other than being more steeped in their misogyny.

It is not the minority opinion. If at best it is 50~50.

50% of Americans aren’t extremist religious nutters.

Neither are they your kind of extremism.

It isn't extremist to think that women shouldn't be treated like trash.

Religion belongs in church and only church. Religion doesn't belong in government, medicine, schools, the workplace, etc.

Your beliefs don't get to dictate how I and others live our lives. That right there is why so many "godless" people are angry. We're pissed and angry that a few people's beliefs get to control and f-up others lives.

And religious beliefs don't excuse corruption and deception to propel your agenda.

What I find so fundamentally offensive is that a major strategy on the extreme right is shutting down voices they do not agree with rather than engaging in complex policy debates. It is so much easier to gerrymander districts and make voting harder for those you do not agree with. To then claim yours is the majority opinion is also quite rich.

Then why do you treat them like trash?

Yet, you want to push your beliefs on everyone else.

What few people are you talking about? It’s up to the states, that’s more than a few people.

YES. This. It seems like a right wing tactic to cry "free speech" to allow a radical perspective (Thomas's views are NOT indicative of anywhere near 50%) legitimacy but then turn around and want to limit what aspects of history can be taught in a classroom or what content can be in library books or restricting who can voice their choice of candidate by vote.
