FSM forbid we should have an opportunity to listen to someone with whom we disagree. All we are doing is yelling at each other and no one is convincing another to change their tightly held beliefs. Maybe if we stopped to listen to those that do not fit within our very narrow view of the world, we might learn something.

He quit.

Should we all learn about corruption and inconsistently applied rationale?

I understand that federalism is hard.

Not that hard for traitors.

Right.... We are now living in a world where a minority's opinion is being thrust upon a majority after fifty years of law. I'm not sure how much we have to learn from a group of people who believe I have no right to determine my own care and may now strip me of other ones. Other than being more steeped in their misogyny.

nooo-- amy rabbit and "I like beer" are the most unqualified. and yes- the fact that he is a Black man from the low country does add some diversity to the bench. You need to examine your own feelings and see that you are allowing racial prejudice to color your statement. And I absolutely cannot stand constitutional originalism or Scalia or any of that conservative nonsense - why the heck should we conserve a system that was designed to entrench white supremacy but your statement is the sort of racism that permeates white liberals, you guys are racist too.

I cannot stand him and maybe he was not qualified when he got elevated to the court but he has years of experience at this point. I also understand his point of view for not being liberal, I know many older Black professionals who vehemently disagree with his legal doctrine but agree with his anti liberal stance and I certainly see their point of view and don't think I'm in a position to disagree with it. No UMC professional really is- we all live much more traditional lives and financially benefit from these conservative choices, it seems disingenuous at best to advocate for the "lower orders" to be free to not make these same choices when there is no natural way to alleviate the harm from said lifestyle choices?

Well within the margin of error. Your polls are meaningless to me as Trump became president in 2016z
