How many family reunions do you go to a year

Tell them those reunions ”count” as some of the 4-5 visits per year or they replace the holidays. You only have a finite amount of free time and need to spread it to other family and activities.

+1. Even when DH and I attend and bring our kids, there’s only one other set of kids for them to play with. Everyone else is over 60. It seems like as people age their world gets smaller. My ILs have nothing new to talk about, don’t travel, only see a couple close friends, so I think reunions are their weekend entertainment.
