Same. I also have never hovered over a public toilet or portapotty in my life. Basically if a surface isn’t visibly dirty or sticky or wet to the touch I never give it a second thought.

I was literally shocked when I learned that people hover over toilet seats.

But I've truly been out there living my life, going to the gym 6x a week, working in person, going to shows and restaurants, traveling abroad, seeing friends and family... for well over a year now. No covid. Yes, I do think my grimey-ness helps along with being vaccinated. I know that a germ-free world is actually harmful and dangerous to my body. Why did you mask and take vaccine if you are already “immune” from covid?

I never masked unless it was mandatory. As soon as it was lifted, I stopped wearing it. I never wore one at the gym, and I returned as soon as they reopened (long before vaccination). I didn't see the harm in getting vaccinated, but having a robust, active immune system is very clearly important - with regards to covid, and other things.

This is just an urban myth, based on one study of like Swedish farm children or something, that drew conclusions that can't be proven. They have no idea why those kids were healthier than city kids. They assumed it was dirt -- it was probably fresh air, exercise and healthy food.
