Is working at Chick-Fil-A a liability?

What makes you think anyone *has* to eat it?

This “boycott stuff” actually works. It’s free market feedback and voting with our dollars. And it worked with Chick-fil-A too (see PP’s link from their walk back)

Chick-fil-A isn’t hurting for businesses because a few people boycott them over their personally held beliefs. The place is closed on Sunday for crying out loud, they play Christian music in some stores, and there’s still a line around the building everyday from open until close. Most people overlook any differences they may have and go there for the good food, and quick and polite service. They also give back to local schools and communities and give employee scholarships more than any private company I’ve seen.

That LGBTQ person with a chip on their shoulder thinks they’re hurting Chick-fil-A business but really are just missing out on some yummy chicken biscuits and delicious peach milkshakes. They can boycott till the cows come home, that’s the free market like you said, but Chick-fil-A is doing just fine without them.

I have to wonder if the PP also boycotts Amish and Mennonite markets as well or if they don’t buy vegetables from farmers with Christian beliefs? At what point do you stop eating food to prove a point?

+1 million! I have never been to a CFA in this area or elsewhere that didn’t have a line of people waiting to order. Versus our local BK or McD that is often empty.

CFA offers a good product and has fantastic employees. People an boycott whatever they want, but I’m pretty sure it’s not hurting CFA one bit.

So don’t eat it. I hate McDonald’s and don’t eat it. The ability to choose is great isn’t it.

When someone is donating large sums of money to deny your fundamental rights that goes beyond chip on your shoulder. In the Amish donation example, are the Amish making large profits that they give to conservative causes or paying the salaries of employees who then give significant donations to conservative causes or candidates? No one who refuses to go to CFA thinks they are going to tank a corporation by going to Popeyes instead of CFA.

I couldn’t tell you what the Amish do or what Chick-fil-A does with their money because I don’t care. I’m lgbtq and just want my Chick-fil-A and Amish grocery store because they’re superior to the alternatives. If I spent my life worrying about what other people do with their lives I wouldn’t have time left to live mine.

Anonymous wrote:Sorry but it’s a stupid question. As an admissions advisor I’d much rather see Chick-fil-A than McDonalds or Only Fans. At least Chick-fil-A people are friendly and know how to count change and aren’t blatantly strung out on drugs when they go to work. Chick-filA has higher standards for hiring than most entry level jobs. That you would even ask this question makes you ridiculous or a crappy troll attempt. My guess is the latter.

I don’t think it’s a ridiculous question. My son is a legacy at an extremely selective college. When I looked up the bio of his regional admissions officer, I noticed that the AO openly listed his orientation as gay. So I think I had cause to be concerned given my DC’s application will get a longer look due to his legacy status.

Be sure and link his Only Fans page to the gay admissions officer. So much better credibility than working at Chick-fil-A.

OMG, I should be laughing 😂 instead of nodding my head in agreement but this is absolutely correct in today’s admissions climate

Yes, it is. But there are lots of things people shouldn't choose. To me McD=CFA, both are disgusting and should be avoided at all costs.

Hobby Lobby dudes are Evangelical Christians, so anti-ND for sure.

Choosing convenience from time to time is fine. No need to get obsessed.

How is it a liability when it allows a kid to make a car payment or a cell phone payment?

And zero people on this thread have said that isn't a legitimate choice.
