You have to cut out alcohol and carbs, and extend your fasting window.
That, or learn to live with your new body. I've fallen somewhere between those two camps as I've gotten older - late 40s now. My weight gain also came in my late 30s/early 40s. I just can't see depriving myself of the pleasure of food for the rest of my life, to try to keep those five or seven pounds off, but I do make a real effort not to put on more than that. I'm sure my metabolism is having a good laugh about my arrogance, as I hit my 50s.
