BTS making official visit to the White House

Could Biden not find an Asian American to represent? Also the amount of plastic surgery on Koreans is astounding - and not natural looking. The beauty standards there pressure a lot of young Koreans to go under the knife which I find disturbing.

There was a meeting with AAPI leaders at the White House only a few weeks ago, but it didn’t get nearly the media coverage that BTS did.

Just them speaking in Korean at the White House made a lot of Asians feel they are seen. For the short amount of time he spent with them, Biden is getting buckets of support from this.

Sometimes BTS looks pretty natural and other times they look weird and kind of plastic. I think it comes down to makeup/styling a lot of the time with them because you see them in more candid situations (they did a “camping” themed reality show 2 summers ago and last summer, plus they do a live broadcast after their concerts and chat for awhile) and they look totally normal.

Using this pic, can anyone rank them for me from who's considered most attractive to least? They all look like Michael Jackson to me.

No, they are all considered equally attractive. You don’t need to rank them. The group is good because each man is a part of it. Together, they are perfect.

But even on this thread, people single out various members by name to swoon over, and I'm wondering how they differentiate.

Yeah…why do they suddenly look identical? That’s not really their thing.

Yes, dressed alike, not performing, and no unnatural hair colors is kind of “advanced” in terms of facial recognition in general. It’s easier when they’re performing.

I wonder if they’ll change hair colors for the comeback. They took the pictures for it a long time ago and j-hope at least had platinum hair back then.

Ugh. It really makes me sad that we are having this discussion in Washington, DC when BTS came to speak out against Asian hate.

Saying they look identical is not okay. It his hateful. They are very different looking. And they are an important part of youth pop culture around the world hence their invitation to the White House and speaking at the UN this year. If you cannot tell them apart then you need to grow your friend circle.

In the picture with the President it is: RM, Suga, V, Biden, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope.

Oh please. They are obviously not *literally* identical, but they are all wearing the same suit and suddenly all have dark hair, which is a huge departure from how they usually look. It is purposeful; they are trying to look the same for this media appearance.

Is this image better? They are the same men but you may have an easier time telling them apart. They may have styled themselves alike for the Presidential visit, but they do look different from one another (all the time), and their roles and personalities are different.

This is Jin, RM, V, Jimin, Suga, j-hope and Jungkook in order.

No shit, 15:38. No one was saying they are actually identical. But they styled themselves identically for the visit. You’ll have to manufacture outrage elsewhere.
