What do you eat at 4/4:30 when you are starving

Anonymous
I try to stave off the hunger 'til dinner because once I start eating I turn it into dinner, and then I also eat dinner.

Cheese stick and handful pretzels
apple with 1-2T peanut butter
hummus and pita chips (I often buy the indiv serving packs at TJs), with carrots
Kind bar if I want something sweet

I have a cup of tea, too. Key for me is portion control, because I could go to town on snacking at this tine of day.

Some fresh sliced mozzarella but also I would cook dinner earlier

When I'm starving at that 4ish time I love to do things like pop a couple frozen quiche in the air fryer and serve with a side salad, make a cup of frozen French Onion soup (Trader Joe's has easy single serve soups), or smash an avocado and make some homemade guac and chips, or make an air fryer pb and j. Today I had a leftover enchilada around 4pm and then had a single serve charcuterie board with random leftovers- I took a plate and put a couple types of crackers, crazy feta, hummus, a few cheese slices, apple slices, grapes, cucumber slices, and red peppers.

Why do you air fry a pbj?

It makes the outside a little crispy and the inside gets warm and gooey, it's more like a dessert than a sandwich and it's delicious!
