Child is likely going to fail a class—-what would your reaction be

Anonymous
At UVA Engineering, some of the smartest out-of-staters got held back but easily got phenomenal jobs and careers. The kids in the less challenging classes had high GPAs but ended up losing their jobs and working for their parents or stuck in the boonies.

I'd rather have a kid fail a "weed out" taking the intelligent kids "down a notch" from a hateful biased teacher, than a cheat and overego-maniac in for a shock.

“Decent student” = based on fake inflated grades from high school and you riding his a** 7 days a week?

Your son has NEVER been a decent self-starting responsible student and you know it. He probably has zero study skills.
