The first episode of the second half was so dark, I could barely tell what was happening. Story is great though. Poor Howard--buried next to pure evil.

Could someone explain exactly how he died? What did Gus do? That scene was almost entirely in pitch darkness and I couldn’t figure out how Gus killed him.

I wonder if this is the beginning of the end for Jimmy and Kim. She’s not in BB, so clearly they split up at some point. That will be so sad - I love them together.

You got it right. It was heartbreaking, but I'm relieved that she is alive. This episode seemed like the finale but there are more coming. I hope they won't ruin the finale. Someone here mentioned BCS is better than BB - I agree. So far the best show I've watched.

Now we know the reason he really loves that bar is David- someone he still holds a candle for.

he decides to stop torturing himself by flirting with a future he can't have.

I so didn’t get the bit at the bar.

Yes he was flirting then caught himself and left.

Apparently, those who had watched BB got the bar scene. The whole hate toward Salamancas goes back when Gus's partner was murdered by Hector Salamanca. I watched BB but don't remember that scene. Gus has been heart broken since then. He is protecting himself from the fear to lose someone he loves and thus be vulnerable.

Gus remembers his former business partner and implied romantic interest Maximino “Max” When he leans over at the pool of El Eladios house. It’s a flashback from BB

Ha! Well done.

Hector probably spent hours on that note only to get mocked by Eladio “My breakfast would be ruined with the DINGDINGDINGDING”
