Yes, I saw BB, and yes I get most of the references.

It’s just….they’re doing too much here at the end. It’s just like how the last season on BB did too much.

If they kill Jimmie/Saul/Gene or send him to prison for life or some shit, I’ll be so disappointed.

You are the first person I have heard complain about the final season of BB doing “too much”.

I love Saul but think it’s only enjoyable from all the goodwill that BB built up. Definitely start with BB.

+1
BB first, definitely. Makes BCS so much more interesting.

I thought Kim was in witness protection when I saw her dyed black hair, but she still goes by Kim Wexler, so I guess not. Still not sure why her hair was dyed.

Maybe that's her natural color and she isn't spending money on anything extra like hair dye? I thought witness protection too at first.

I think it’s symbolic of her new life she’s trying to create. Even her mannerisms changed as her conversations reverted to agreeing with everyone without stating her opinion, unlike the past outspoken and adventurous Kim we knew. Perhaps it also symbolized she had changed.

Agree. Everything about her new life is intentionally terribly boring.

She's trying to be invisible. Look how she's dressed, too. And carrying herself.

Obviously we always knew Saul had questionable morals but he really seems to be spinning off the rails. Somehow I never thought he would stoop to petty thievery.

I think he went off the rails after the conversation with Kim. Now he is just angry and lashing out. I don’t like this arc for him , especially when he almost hit the one guy in the head- I was thinking that what Jimmy would really do is just schmooze him, be like “oh you’re awake! I was just heading out since you passed out on the floor after we came back for the night cap! Crazy night!!” Not murder him.

Are the writers trying to make us less sympathetic to the unscrupulous criminal Jimmy has become, to better accept the dark ending and his bad outcome? Or is this the ultimate con job by Saul and Kim, and we are the marks?

This show is so good. I’m so sad it is ending.

It's penance.

She had no need to be in the witness protection program as the show could not be more clear she leaves before that era.

My take on that scene was that he was going to dump the dog's ashes on the drunk guy to temporarily blind him while he (Jimmy) ran outside. I just can't picture Jimmy trying to kill (or even hurt) anyone.

He was definitely going to hit him on the head with the urn, then was about to strangle Carol Burnett. Carol saying that she trusted him seems to have snapped him out of this dark, dark place.
