Goal weight for 5’4?

It's so variable. When I was super fit, I was down to a 2/4 at 140. When I wasn't fit, a 140 would have me at a 6/8.

I thought it was 105 for the first 5', then 5 lbs an inch. So, 140 at 5'7, which I am and everyone tells me I'm soooo thin/ eat a cheeseburger.

This is the first time I have ever heard this extremely disordered take on what a woman should weigh. I am 5-2 and weigh 115-120 depending on the week. Guess I better get on a diet!

I'm 5' and would have to starve myself or be critically ill to weigh 100-105 lbs, but I still manage to be a very fit size 2 at 115 lbs. That said, I do not think it's crazy to assume a lot of women between 5'0 and 5'4 are very small framed and should be aiming for the lower end of the weight range more in line with the 5'/100 lb rule. Nor is it crazy to make adjustments based on your specific frame and musculature.

I'm also 5' and weigh 115 and I'm a size 2. I'm short but not small framed (yay me...not).

But, I could also lose 5 lbs or so and be completely healthy.

I think if you have a small frame, the 100 lbs for 5' makes sense.

I’m 5’4. I weigh in the low 120s. This is where I feel the best and how I think I look my best.

I’ve been as low as 112. I felt sick all the time and once fainted walking up a flight of stairs. This was in college and I was going through some hard times and was too stressed out to eat.

I’ve been as high as 130, maybe over. Interestingly, I got the most attention from guys at that weight for my “curves.” I was on a bad birth control pill then and I felt… squishy

Instead of fixating on weight, why not focus on how your clothes fit? Aim to drop down a size or two.

Tell me you know nothing about science without telling me....1 pound is 1 pound. What you are referring to is a thing called density.

I’m at 140 now and th fat roll is uncomfortable. I’d love to be back at 125 but would settle for 130. My premenopause weight was usually 120-125, or 110-120 if I was nursing. Under 115, I was pretty skinny and it was hard to find clothes that fit. 115 to 125 is the sweet spot for me at 5’4” but I’ll probably never see that again unless I get to be one of those ancient ladies who just withers away.
