What does this even mean? There are literally thousands of shows you can watch right now given all the streaming options. You not watching one is not "boycotting." It's just....not watching the show. Feel like this word is overused. Are you really actively protesting the show or are you just not watching LOL |
| Those who like Somebody, Somewhere check out Tig Notaro's show on Amazon One Mississippi. You may like it. |

Just finished this show - absolutely loved it. She nails the complexities of relationships between parents and adult children really well. I was tearing up at the speech about her mom.
It took me getting through episode 3 to really get hooked - but then I was all in. |
| Really liked it, but it took a couple episodes. |
I was the opposite. I liked the first couple episodes, introducing the characters, but then felt like it went off the rails. Without giving away too much, dumping champagne down a sewer grate while doing coke? taking a homeless alcoholic to a big pitch meeting? It didn't make sense. I much preferred Somebody, Somewhere. |

I liked it, even though some parts broke my heart. Her real life mom was “the other woman” that her real life bff’s dad had an affair with. The saddest parts are autobiographical.
I freaking loved the scenes with her bananas ex-boyfriend — when he showed up on the horse and then when he was dumping out bottles of wine. |
Yep, those scenes, plus Trevor the MRI tech are some of my favorite. Also the Gerald with the hard-G scenes. The show was totally heartwarming, funny, and weaved in a lot of complex issues. I just loved it and hope it comes back for season 2, but I just saw that not only is Amy doing a stand up tour, but also filming another Inside Amy Schumer season so not sure she'll have time. It might just be a limited series. |
I thought the bringing her alcoholic dad to the pitch was brilliant commentary on how far we let white men with confidence get. And what a sham "sales" is in most industries. She cleaned him up, changed his name, and he got into the role of confident salesman and killed it. I'm in a male-dominated industry and the whole thing didn't seem unbelievable to me, given whom I've seen rise to the top of my industry. |
+1 to all of this, plus that character was in his element. Drinking and bullshitting are the only things he’s good at. |
| Season 2 premieres on Friday! |
| Just finished the first 4 episodes of season 2. It is a masterpiece. Michael Cera is fantastic. |

Question re “The Work” (episode 6) @ very last minute of last scene. “Oh Gilane you’re out” I presume Gilane is the customer walking in on the “kids” enjoying the awesome apartment but I don’t get why he says “you’re out” |
With all these comedians, I think it’s really difficult to stay funny after becoming really successful. They just are less in touch with common people’s issues. I say that about stand up and haven’t seen this show. But her most recent comedy special is so much less funny than her earlier ones. |
They are acting like it is Ghislaine Maxwell and she has gotten out of jail. |
