| I don’t use fabric softener but I love scented detergent! I use Persil. |
I think this is one of those love it or hate it areas. Similar to perfume/cologne. |
I hate those chemicals and smells. Everything I use on laundry is unscented. Our clothes smell like 'nothing/clean". |
Whatever perfumed laundry products my neighbor uses makes my throat feel like it's closing. I can't be in the yard when they dry clothes. It's potent. Can't be healthy. |
Wow! That's a strong reaction and sounds like it could be an allergy. Stay safe, PP. |
| I have a wool dryer ball but my puppy likes to play with it so I always have to hunt for it when I do laundry. I use dryer sheets that supposedly help lessen the need for drycleaning but no scent beads and all that. |
Love Persil. I lived in England before they had it here, and I would bring it back to the states with me. Was so happy when it came here with the fresh, clean scent. |

Nothing was worse than Drakkar or Axe on sweaty balls. |
Seriously, it's a gimmick born out of Covid.

I use these too, but the unscented version. And I use the static balls for things like coats and snow pants and such. I don’t like the smell of LAUNDRY DETERGENT. I don’t know what kind of frags they’re using these days but they are insanely strong. |
I don’t have such a strong reaction (and yikes!) but I don’t like the outside world stinking of someone’s perfume of choice. |
| i love the smell of laundry detergent and fabric softener. brings me back to my days of living in bogota. |
| No, I hate the smell. |
| Love the smell of laundry detergent. Just smells homey and clean and cozy to me. My favorite is when I'm on a walk and I can smell people doing laundry. |
