When you say you know God’s will, I find that fascinating. Which of the contradictory versions of the creation story reflects God’s will? Is it really God’s will that we murder our children when they are stubborn and rebellious? Should a husband really be punished for sleeping with a woman only 2 days after the end of her period? Was it really God’s will that the Israelites commit genocide against the Canaanites? How does that lesson apply today? Many Christian ministers have taught that the enslavement of Black people was God’s will? Were they wrong? How can you be sure?
