I wonder if you could just pi the French press coffee through the extra step of going through a filter

Sorry. I meant you could make the French press coffee as normal, but then pour it through a paper filter before drinking.

+1 I own an expensive espresso machine and a 5 cup mr. coffee off of Amazon. You can brew 1-5 cups. Love it.

Is this a joke? Coffee doesn't contain cholesterol.

Np. Food does not have to contain cholesterol to raise it. There was some study that showed if you do not use paper filters when making coffee, it can raise your cholesterol. No idea if it is true, but a lot of people at my work stopped using French presses because of it. I started adding a paper filter to my coffee maker.

We have an espresso maker but it baffles me, so my husband is in charge of it. If I’m making coffee just for me, I use the aeropress. If you want almost no waste but also want a paper filter, it’s a good choice.

This is the easiest and most delicious solution. You will a grinder too. The smell is wonderful and it’s become my favorite part of the morning routine.

This right here is proof that people are sheep — and they have a tendency to follow the stupidest amongst them.

Regular drip coffee maker. I brew 3 cups and I drink 2 in the morning and then microwave the last cup in the afternoon. Just a little bit of half and half added.

I have a Ninja at home (the one that does coffee or loose tea in different size cups/half pot/full pot and some speciality drinks). It was milestone birthday upgrade from a Mr. Coffee, and I love it.

I have the keurig duo at our cabin. It can do kcups or a full pot. I don’t love it as much, but it gets the job done. My parents are kcup users and frequent cabin guests and I am choosing my battles. I could get a re-useable kcup, but they wouldn’t use it.

When I was single, I used a french press or moka pot. Now DH and I use a drip coffee maker because it takes a lot less time.

Sometimes press the 1-4 button on coffee machine and make 2-3 cups, or mostly use French press.

I love my Ninja too…for those asking about model, this is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FX73Y7H/ref=emc_b_5_t .

I make a pour over if only I'm drinking coffee. I put a metal filter in a large mug and make it directly into the mug. The filter is from a $20 Bodum set but the carafe broke so now I just do it like this. I also use a gooseneck electric kettle.
