| Eww please don't. I was in DC the other day and it smelled nasty. |
|
DC is stinky? Sorry but DC is not a good example because its laws got broken by Congress before they could be fully implemented. You can't exactly walk into a store and buy edibles in DC.
Most of the people I know in places like Colorado and elsewhere that it's fully legalized either go for edibles (no smell) or can purchase good quality weed that doesn't smell like it was smuggled in a sweaty migrant's underwear and then stored under dead skunk carcasses for 2 years. |
You can very easily both walk into a store or get delivery of edibles to your home or a neutral location. You don’t seem to know a lot about what you are talking about. |
It’s a dumb argument. Anyone that’s been to California or Washington state in the last couple years can attest that access to edibles does not decrease the stink. |
Investors think the legal market will be worth investing in because it will cannibalize the existing black market. You don't need a lot of people to start newly using marijuana for marijuana to be a good investment if it's legal. |
Yup, definitely all the people living on the streets in Seattle and Los Angeles are (a) only using marijuana, not harder drugs and (b) only on the streets because they smoke weed. |
And yet the black market still thrives where weed has been legalized. For example, there was a record $1.2 billion dollar weed bust in California just last summer. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/marijuana-seized-california-billion-drug-bust-illegal-cultivation/#app |
+1 There have been several cases of death in the past few weeks due to altercations between user and sellers, as well as kids bringing it to school imagine how much worse if this is legal un MD. I can imagine people driving while high. |
You can't directly buy it. More like you buy some other overpriced item of no value and they give you a "free gift" with your purchase. It's a very broken system thanks to Congress. |
You clearly don’t live here. Why are you posting? |
|
Half of the addicts in the US are addicted to marijuana.
Do not believe the lie that it’s not addicting. https://www.addictions.com/marijuana/dabs-what-is-dabbing-and-is-it-dangerous/ |
What are YOU talking about and why are YOU posting? Recreational marijuana CAN NOT LEGALLY BE sold or purchased in DC.

Are you an idiot? You can procure weed and edibles through several bricks and mortar stores and delivery services that advertise. Actual weed users that live in the area have zero problem legally procuring weed and edibles. You don’t live here and it shows. |
Since the PPP lives out of town. This article can help them to understand how easy it is to procure recreational weed in DC. https://dcist.com/story/21/10/29/dc-council-bill-would-shut-down-marijuana-gifting-shops-and-delivery-services/ |

DC smells like Amsterdam (and not in a good way).
MD should not make the same mistake. |
