And with the Bible school references above, I assume they are evangelicals who believe that women are second class citizens who just have to do what their husband tells them. Oh God, those conventions are AWFUL. I grew up in Houston and had to attend those and retreats with my Mother. Oh the things that went on. The men are predatory in those churches. I am now thankfully atheist and would never put my kids in harms way in church. I know that it can happen elsewhere but at least it won't be them.
