Awesome. He shouldn't be able to keep all that crowd sourced money. Pay the families.

+1
The murdering homunculus shouldn’t be allowed to profit off his crimes.

Ummm..... have you not been paying attention?

He was cleared of all charges. He did not commit a crime. He acted in self defense.
It will be interesting, if this case does get to court, to hear more about Huber's background. He wielded a skateboard at Rittenhouse. He was using it as a deadly weapon. I'm sure there are a lot of skeletons in Huber's closet that will be brought to light.

There is plenty known about Huber, plenty enough to know that he wasn't any great loss to society:

"Court records in Wisconsin show that Huber was convicted of disorderly conduct in 2018 as a domestic abuse repeater. It was a misdemeanor. He was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia.

His most serious case came when he was found guilty of a felony for strangulation and suffocation, domestic abuse. He was also convicted in that case of felony false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse.

A charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety was dismissed and read-in, as was a charge of battery and two charges of disorderly conduct. He was ordered not to possess weapons and no contact orders were issued."

It is worth noting that Huber was found guilting of these felonies, a distinction that sometimes seems lost on posters here.

I actually hope Rittenhouse countersues for damages. Huber attacked Rittenhouse and Huber's partner shouldn't get to keep the money she raised.

IMHO they are ALL criminals. Rittenhouse, Huber, the guy that bought the gun for Rittenhouse. But Rittenhouse got off not because he didn't commit a crime, but because of politics.

No. He was found not guilty because 12 unrelated strangers determined, based on evidence, that he acted in self defense.
The "easy" way out would have been to find him guilty.... the mob was pretty vocal about that.

I’m fine with letting the civil court and a jury sort this out. I just don’t care about the outcome of this one.

When people participate in a violent riot they could end up dead. There’s probably a greater chance to end up dead if the police aren’t involving themselves.

Nope. It was politics. The case was steered toward clearing Rittenhouse of any charges that would stick by both the judge and the prosecutor.

Looks like Rittenhouse and his lawyers have launched a project called "Media Accountability Project" so they can sue anyone who speaks about him.

I agree. They can go about doing this if they want but I think it will open a flood of similar cases and essentially backfire.

Not so much as he's had a taste of lots of free money from donors and needs to grift. It beats working for a living.

The jury acquitted Rittenhouse because the state charged him with the wrong crimes. The state originally charged him with breaking curfew and illegally carrying a gun. They dropped these so that the jury wouldn’t have an easy out and so it wouldn’t look as if the state was overcharging the case as California did with Michael Jackson. But the state went at it from the wrong direction. The state should have charged Rittenhouse with breaking curfew and carrying an illegal weapon and nothing else. There probably wouldn’t have even been a right wing circus trial.

Eh, good for him. Hope he’s successful.

I can absolutely see Governor Abbott forcing the school to admit him. Is this a school that allows guns in the dorm? I imagine he travels everywhere with a weapon. It’s his identity.

He’s such a loser.

I wonder if he ever completed a single online course through ASU.

It would be a shame if someone confronted him and then stood their ground
