Riemer and Hucker whose opinions change based on whatever will get them elected. Navarro who's just not that bright. Katz is OK (the only actual businessperson on the Council) but doesnt' seem to stand up for the people much. Albornoz is a ladder-climber but also a yes-man.

Friedson does stuff like question why the county needs to pass toothless resolutions on international affairs for example. (Leave that for Congress please).

I will say that, IME, Hucker is typically very responsive to constituent concerns (I’m in his district). I may not agree with him in everything but I feel like he does listen to people. He’s not eligible for another term though, right?

Imagine shilling for Hucker. Watch a council hearing, if there is one guy that cannot be even bothered to pretend his gives a flying f*ck it’s Hucker.

Hucker, jawando, Hans-- All these bozos need to be voted out!!

Thankfully both Riemer and Hucker are term limited out and Riemer has zero chance if being elected CE.

As for Jawando, at the rate he’s going I suspect he’ll be resigning at some point in his council career as result of a scandal. Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.

I was hoping he'd just quit since he got his book deal.

Plan is publish book in 2022, Cardin retires and run for Senate in 2024?

It would be funny if Cardin doesn’t retire this term (I doubt he will) or even funnier is the most obvious outcome that he loses the primary.

I imagine that his wife’s employer could also be a problem with the coming extradition and prosecution of Assange.

I was interested in Brooks but I've come to realize she's a developer shill. The woman on the planning board, hard pass.

A lot of these candidates actively concern me. Brooks would be disastrous. Fani-Gonzalez is this absurd combination of stupid and corrupt. Mink is just wow.

Very few of these people are serious and when serious people do run, like Bill Conway, they cannot get any votes.

Honestly, this county is doomed. We’re going to need to hit some bottom before we can find a way back.

Imagine saying you are “actively concerned” about candidates and naming three women of color as the people who “concern” you. And then the example of a “serious” candidate is a white male. Do you even hear yourself.

Imagine being so racist that you cannot fathom that people of color don’t support other people if color just because if the color of their skin.

Imagine being so racist that you insinuate a person of color is racist because they oppose people for their bad ideas.

Getting tired of people like you in this county. Go f—- yourself.

Well, I know I won't vote Mink. I was standing in line for quite a while for coffee at a local place a few months back. She and her husband were there talking to people on the side. I know it was her because they were both wearing campaign shirts . They ended up cutting in line to order, which irked me, because the place was busy and I had been standing in line for 20 minutes already.

I know I can't prove it, but oh well. That was my personal experience from that day.

He has long thought that. White Kansan mom, African dad, wife named Michele. And so on.

Those 3 women of color are woke lunatics. Most people would be concerned if they somehow managed to win.

If they win, it will be because most people voted for them.

I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this basic fact, and yet...

You didn't have to explain anything. I simply stated my opinion that they are all woke lunatics with terrible agendas and that most people would be concerned if any of them won. This implies that they won't win because people generally don't vote for people they have concers about. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this basic fact, and yet...

White people like this are a defining feature of this county. It’s just gross people and sick behavior.

Refuse to actually know and acknowledge people of color outside of their little circles.

Uh, I think PP said she was a person of color.

Pretty sure it refers to the PPP who blithely says “can you hear yourself”.

NP...why would you automatically assume that someone is racist because they don't agree with a black candidates viewpoints? Too me, that is the type of behavior that will further divide the people in this county. Anyone can vote for anyone. Equality.

He is, but he's running for County Executive.

LOL. Guess someone doesn’t feel very confident that he can win in a district without TP votes and probably also knows better than anyone how weak Riemer is.

These people can’t help themselves. I was hoping fewer candidates would throw their hat in the ring this time so that we had a chance of getting rid of Elrich but they’re all going to split the vote again aren’t they. I’d actually prefer Hucker over Reimer/Elrich but don’t think he’d win, I think he’s more likely siphon off votes from Blair.
