Also don’t like the powder room and think it looks old-fashioned and not in a good way.
Interested to see the kitchen; I think Jean Stoffer’s stuff is beautiful and wish I could have it in my house. It’s much more interesting and layered than the common all-white kitchen. I think it will look good when finished. The island is way too long though - will be a huge pain to walk around. Basically makes it a galley kitchen with another wall of cabinets on one side. Wish they would be more transparent about costs like younghouselove. |

Thank you for saying it!! The marble is so stupid! I am curious about these home DIY/designers pricing. I know someone from the Richmond area that dabbles in DIY, and saw John and Sherry from Young House Love’s renos on the blog and said there’s no way they could’ve done it on the budget they shared. |
