Clearly his Georgetown prep education was inadequate to teach him the the minimum voting age is 18 |

My daughter is 12 an knows the voting age is 18. She's marked her first election on her calendar and it falls on her 18th birthday. Wow, you Virginians are in for a bumpy ride!!
|
Yep! |
. Uh, is this your spin? It wasn’t a good thing. It was illegal. |
Totally this! No one in his family or his school or anything he ever read EVER mentioned the requirements for voting? And he didn’t bother to even Google? And he tried Twice? Meanwhile, a woman in Texas got a five year jail sentence after she ASKED for official guidance and followed the guidance when she voted provisionally. Oh to be white and male and do fun-if-illegal boys-will-be-boys stuff with protection from the consequences. Clearly the lad has a future in Republican politics! Wonder what the theme for his college essay looks like? |
+1 And I just asked my already registered 17-year-old if she knew that and where her precinct was and she does. |

My guess is that his dumb teenage brain convinced him he needed to test the system to see if “election integrity” would be compromised. I have 2 teens, they can come up with some really dumb ideas.
It sounds like he went to two separate polling stations and showed his real ID (maybe a drivers license) and it clearly showed he was 17. I don’t think he used a fake ID. So it’s likely that he tried to vote presenting his authentic ID isn’t a crime, it just makes him stupid. I’m surprised his parents didn’t have all hands on deck on Election Day and for everyone to be accounted for all day long. |
Did you read the article? The Virginia code actually doesn’t cover the scenario of using a legitimate ID to vote but you’re underage or haven’t registered. It’s not illegal. But it won’t get you anywhere either, hence he was turned away. |
Oh that’s great. His inner Democrat is coming out. Lol. |
|
I believe you CAN vote in a primary at 17 if you will be 18 by the general election. I wonder if he got confused by that or maybe he’s just really dumb.
No one was “outraged” at McAullife’s 21 year old daughter posed in front of the Lynchburg City Republican Committee office giving the finger and posted it all over Instagram. Youngkin when asked said he didn’t have opinions on his opponent’s children and refused to comment further. |
| How Republican of him. |
| Ha ha ha. So he attempted voter fraud so since he failed n b d |
|
I'll give him a pass because he's a minor and it was not a crime. Also, I want to note in passing that other minors have been shot dead by police for non-crimes. Not the same skin color or family provenance. |
One is a crime, the other isn’t |
| I’ve always brought my children with me when I vote. They’re not old enough to vote yet either, but they know our polling place is the middle school in our neighborhood. I feel like there’s something hinky about the junior Youngkin showing up at a random polling place. |
