| I'm picky about underwear, no tighty whities |
Same. She rolls with baggy everything around the house. This weekend when I was doing the laundry I did my best to shrink the stuff she sleeps in. |

My wife has to wear a suit to work each day (federal agent), so she lives in sweats once she gets home. I don't care if she runs errands in them or whatever.
The only time I buy clothes for her is at Christmas time and even then it might be a sweater I thought she'd like. She's very picky. If we're going out to dinner at a nice restaurant, dressed up for her is nice jeans, button down, and slip on shoes of some kind. That's fine by me, but if we're going out to dinner with my boss, I might suggest dress slacks instead of jeans. That's the extent of me "dressing her." She loves that I love wearing dresses. They're my favorite item of clothing and I find them so comfy. She does buy me lots of dresses, especially when she finds one she thinks will look good on me. |
It seems that DHs like their DWs in tighter clothing, but DWs find looser clothing more comfortable. I’m a DW that prefers looser clothing. I don’t like my bumps and rolls hanging out. In tighter clothing I’m so conscious of how I’m sitting and people looking at me. It’s so much more relaxing to just be able to not care. |
| I care a lot, but my DH dresses well and is generally more formal than I am. |
She’s really fit though with a flat stomach and no rolls. |
Oh, and it was nice snuggling up to her last night when we were sleeping. |
My late husband was a very sharp dresser. My last boyfriend was a slob and wore baggy jeans and T-shirts. I never said anything about it, but it wasn't my fave. I am now dating someone who is a much better dresser and I find that attractive. So, while it's not really something I take into account when deciding to date someone, I do appreciate those that are well put together! |
