Why are you hanging out in the left lane?

Anonymous
Usually it's because I am either positioning for the left exit. Or there are so many cars entering the highway it's a total scrum in the two right lanes. Usually I move over after.

Because it's dangerous to go 100+ mph, you reckless a$$h0le. Everyone else is already going 5-10 over the speed limit. Idiots like you get others killed.

No one said anything about going 100+.

Lotta sanctimonious people on here who think anyone going faster than them is a dangerous a-hole.

It's remarkable how often the slowest car driving on 270 is in the far left lane, even with no left exits or merges to be seen.

You are not a good driver. And you have never told a trailer before.

A trailer needs to stay in the middle lane or the 2nd from the far right lane. That is because the far right lane is often for cars merging or exiting, and a trailer is not agile enough to quickly accelerate or decelerate.

I tow trailers for a living smart a$$. If someone doesn’t know how to merge, they shouldn’t be driving. If someone is behind me while I’m towing and they want to pass me, go the F around me. I’m not risking my load for A holes like you or anyone else.

Interesting. So you tow trailers for work, and in your professional opinion you think all trailers should drive in the far right lane. Please explain more.

Because usually everyone is already going 5-10 mph over the speed limit. And you're outraged that others won't make room so you can speed even faster?!

Because every single person out on the road today thinks about themself and only about themself. And what they think about every other driver is:

"they are an a$$hole (for driving slower than me)"

or

"they are a maniac (for driving faster than me)"

See, there you go. You think your speed (5-10 over) is the perfect speed, so anyone going faster is being reckless.

And I'm not outraged, more amused that you're blind to your self-righteousness on this.

Ok gotcha. You are experienced. But what's the reasoning for this? Genuinely curious

Uh, you seem to be living in your own little world. Most police will probably let 5-10 mph slide. But you go ahead and see if they also agree that going 25-30 mph over the limit is just a matter of personal preference.

Exactly. When an obnoxious jackass with blindingly bright lights starts tailgating that is basically an invitation to completely ignore the loser.

+1

Give me a chance to move over before you start all your drama.

I’m completely deaf on my left side and have much better awareness of things directly behind me or on my right.

DP. Let’s say you are going 8mph over in the left lane. Someone approaches going 10mph over.

Why don’t you move over?

Why don't they stop speeding?
