Linda Evangelista says she is permanently deformed from CoolScupting

Why doesn’t she just get micro liposuction if she is so disfigured and clearly has no problem with plastic surgery?

It's horrible she suffered side effects, but she's by no means deformed.

+1 I guess looking average like the rest of us schmucks equals brutal disfigurement to her. LOL the truth is it looks like she aged and gained a fair amount of weight. That’s it.

+2

“brutal disfigurement”, seriously. it’s like she believes she is supposed to look like she did at 20 and everything significantly different from that is a disfigurement.

In 2013 she looks slim. In 2015 she looks fat.

Wasn't she pregnant in the second photo?

I don’t thinks so. She only has that one kid, and he was born in 2007 or 2008.

But why couldn't she just have a neck/face lift? It's not like she's grown a goiter or something (little known side effect of cool sculpt??)

The article states that she went through 2 corrective procedures and the larger, hard, fatty cells kept returning.

She also stated she was not told about this possible side effect and it seems they were not upfront about it back then.

I'm the one who considered cools sculpting. Nobody told me, but it all you have to do is google research it and it's a known risk. I asked the doctor, because you know I advocate for myself, and she sais sure it's a rare, but known risk. That's when I decided I was not spending my hard earned money on something that could make me fatter. I didn't like the other risks either. I think one may be nerve damage.

That’s not “permanently deformed”, that’s just what normal aging looks like!

If that qualifies as permanently deformed, I’m gonna need to sue nature!

It looks terrible, especially to have come on so quickly. She looks like a differe t person and you can see how lumpy her skin is now.

I hope she gets paid for the disaster cool sculpting left her. At least I hope she is paid enough for the company to stop disfiguring other women after tricking them with empty promises! People should be more angry at an industry that allows these lies.

What lies? She was fat before the operation. Maybe these women should stop going to 'medi-spas' run by individuals who aren't licensed surgeons.

Nobody would want this procedure if they told the truth that your flesh will look like mashed potatoes afterward.

She's aging, and not well. Have no idea how old she is but maybe in her 40s? She looks like your average aging, overweight woman. She's suing because she's looking older? Will get laughed out of court. And if the defense chooses to be cruel about it, she will get an earful of scalding comments. What's she going to do then - sue them for offending her?

Having said all that, I would not submit to newfangled treatments. Snake oil.

She looks beautiful in all those photos to me. I’m sorry for whatever she’s going through, physically, emotionally or psychologically.

Just get lipo on neck — tons of celebs do that

I had it done and my tummy looks lumpy. Any class action lawsuit I can get in on?

Agreed. Just look at the ridiculously cruel remarks about her on this thread.

If you think she is out of line with regard to her child support or whatever, then so be it. But the comments on her appearance are gross. The whole way we treat women and their appearance is gross. Particularly the way we treat aging women is gross.
