Linda Evangelista says she is permanently deformed from CoolScupting

I’m sorry but what she means by “deformed” is that she looks like many other regular women? That’s insulting and out of touch. I have a hard time having sympathy for her. I expected her face to be disfigured, not for her to have some arm and back fat.

I read the story and saw the pictures. Most women do not have rock hard protrusions and rolls that affect their ability to put their arms down or walk without pain/bleeding. She’s not just overweight. It sounds horrible.

Agree, and I'm glad she's shedding light on the possible side effects of coolscupting.

It's horrible she suffered side effects, but she's by no means deformed.

+1 I guess looking average like the rest of us schmucks equals brutal disfigurement to her. LOL the truth is it looks like she aged and gained a fair amount of weight. That’s it.

Exactly. But I think she also is not accepting the natural aging we all get. She could embrace it and be a stunning older woman/model. Nothing is less attractive than someone who has plastic surgery and silicone in their face in old age, they always looks weird and distorted. She has lost her confidence, which is sad, she still looks good for her age.

The issue is the toxic culture that led her to believe she needed the procedure in the first place.

What toxic culture? Most people agree that she still looks good for her age (meaning: above average).

It's her being a former super-model not coming to terms with aging or maintaining good looks with some extra hard work (diet, exercise).

If she was damaged in an unanticipated way by the treatments, she has an obvious cause of action.

Where is the damage? She looks like an average middle aged woman.
Her biggest problem is her weight.

You don’t know that, idiot. The photos don’t show her unclothed body.

Since you’re so knowledgeable, why don’t you go on her actual Instagram and ask for proof? Maybe tell her she’s just fat and gave up. Go ahead. You’ve got important work ahead of you.

Sorry you're triggered. You can certainly be an overweight paper pusher and live a happy life. This is a former super model, most people ate least heard her name and would be able to compare her with her former self.

I saw her at an event 10 years ago and she looked very much like how she looks now - overweight.
Seems like she can't have any procedures in the future and yet she can not lose weight by other methods. But whatever she's presenting to the public still doesn't look like a deformity to an amateur eye.

First of all, she made money off her looks. So yes FOR HER, she is deformed. Regular women are not supermodels. Second, she claims she has hard lumps under her skin. This counts as a deformity in my book.

Perhaps this is not as rare as the company indicates and non-disclosure agreements signed by clients to have surgical corrections paid for by the company, are keeping others from coming forward.

I saw her in the fendi show but I still don’t get it, she chose the procedure and there are side effects it’s all on her I guarantee you it was in the disclosures. Now If this was like open heart surgery or life saving surgery I get it if it went wrong but this was a vanity procedure. Id love to have an inch of fat melted off my body by doing nothing or having perkier books after nursing two kids but I choose not to because it’s not worth the risk. She’s not like some brave warrior or something.

Why was she in the Fendi show if she's deformed? I don't understand this woman

Anyone who focuses on their looks to the extent of many models and actresses will have a very hard time with the aging process.
