yeah, she's never pretended to be "nice". I respect that, far more honest then syrupy Jen Garner who makes me wanna puke. |
Because she can't act and plays the same person in everything. |
I’ve never liked her as an actress but never actively avoided her movies. Knowing that t shirt thing has made me decide to Actively avoid. What a horrible person. |
+1 Well put I have no idea what people are talking about when they call her beautiful If she were out of the business and you met her as a regular person, I think people would generally have a more favorable impression of her looks - she seems stylish and certainly has it more together than most 53 year old women But it just baffles me that she’s an A lister |
|
In her prime, Julia Roberts was absolutely stunningly gorgeous - arguably the most beautiful face in Hollywood.
Like all of us, she has gotten older so obviously has lost some of her luster. However for a woman of a particular age, she still looks good. 👄 |
No she didn’t. You have substandard taste. |
| I think she looks great and natural. Her hair color isn't the most flattering but otherwise I think she looks fantastic. She's 53 and as others have mentioned she still looks like herself and hasn't succumbed to the Hollywood trap of getting a ton of work done. She's a very attractive woman in her early 50's. I don't get people who say she's ugly or unattractive. Based on what standard?? I'm not going to comment on her personal attributes or the stunt she pulled 20 years ago with wearing that dumb T-shirt, etc. Solely from a looks based, superficial perspective she looks great. |
You have just heard a rumor on dcum from 20 years ago about a romantic dispute between people you don’t know at all and decided to change your orientation towards an actor’s movies 20 years after the rumored dispute. This seems to add negativity to your life for no good reason. (I have no stake whatsoever in JR or in your views on JR). |
| Don’t like the hair color, but she is still very attractive. |
|
It wasn’t a rumor, and JR was the source. Yes, I won’t pay money to see certain actors based on the choices they have made ex: woody Allen, Jolie, Roberts. Not supporting such ALow-life, removes negativity not adds to it.

DP, but it’s possible to be a decent person, i.e., someone who wouldn’t have an affair with a married man while she was still in a relationship with a different man herself, and to be honest, and not “syrupy.” These things are not mutually exclusive. |
| I like blonde hair on her. |
Can someone translate this gobbledy-gook for me? This DP is clearly from a different planet. |
DP has a single definition for a “decent person.” It does not include Julia Roberts because she believes JR broke up a marriage 20 years ago. (DP has no idea what caused the marriage to break up, but assumes that it was JR and is now boycotting JR’s movies.) She does not consume media involving or otherwise intentionally transact with people who she believes may have been involved in adultery at some point in there lives. DP is presumable a decent person by this narrow definition. DP has likely never voted in a presidential election, except for Obama, who is a decent person. |
This. She looks fantastic to me. I'm 54 and would die to have those legs. I have always preferred her with a brunette or red hair color though. The blond doesn't work as well. |
