This is how liberal leaders want law abiding folks to live, like every day is Purge. |
What neighborhood do you suggest they be pushed to? |
Why are you suggesting that homelessness is a permanent state? Why push them anywhere? Can't we move them off the street and into either a residence or treatment? There is no reason a person should be camping on the street. |
YEah, the article in today's paper Elissa Silverman was out there. She wants a halt on ceasing these encampments until whatever absurd liberal conditions are met. At the same time, the article mentions DC has residences and programs and rehomng (not on the street) available. So.... really, liberal politicians like Elissa Silverman just want absurd conditions to be met, and at the same time endanger everyone including the homeless living in terrrible conditions. Yay. |
We can! But the current system (say, upcoming wave of evictions) is going to put many more people on the street. Also, the current programs are really difficult to get some of these people into. Bureaucracy, lack of ID, lack of trust, mentally health issues... It's not as simple as saying "there's a program". |

There are well-funded homeless shelters and services standing ready to accept them. Move them into shelters until permanent housing becomes available. |
+1 There is human poop all over the city public spaces. Just no. |
