non-conformist car choice

The jaguar thread got me thinking - what is a good choice of car for ex-saab drivers? People that like a decent car, not flashy, but one that everyone else is not also driving.

I'm guessing the answer might be Suburu.

Just drive the wheels off your old car and don't conform to the whole new car thing....

1994 Buick Park Avenue. Find one that some little old lady has spent the last twenty years keeping it garaged when not driving to church and back. You'll have no regrets.

Maybe you should worry more about what car you want versus how you can be a non conformist?

Mazda. I have a CX-5 and came from a Tribute. Loved my Tribute and love my new CX-5. Reliable, economical (price and MPG) and look great. But not many of them on the roads.

This ex saab driver now has a volvo wagon. But there are a lot of them on the road. I didn't pick it on non-conformity -- it just felt right.
