| Should we expect update this week or you think silence until next year? |
| Today we should have updates from the BRAC meeting they had on Friday |
|
They posted it but there’s nothing new here.

This meeting was after the community meeting about Lewis boundaries. And that isn’t mentioned in here anywhere? |
Nope. The just posted the agenda, plus the same timeline they have been posting repeatedly. |
They really dropped any pretense at transparency over the past month. Michelle Reid is such a fraud. |
| They really think that the community is dumb. |
Looks like we won’t get a new map until Jan when she releases her map to the school board. I guess we’ll see it then? Maybe not. |
They've had multiple meetings now where Reid has not disclosed changes shared with or proposed by the BRAC. I'm sure the lack of transparency is what Sandy Anderson wants, too. They are both pathetic. |
|
From Reid’s latest email. You’ll get 2 days to see the last map before the final meeting to provide comment:
“To expand on the first bullet, I will present my recommendation on proposed boundary changes to the School Board on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A public hearing on the comprehensive boundary review is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026.” |
Sounds like they’re tired of public comment and just want to ram this thru. |
| My neighborhood won't be moving in any scenario, but man do I feel for those that are waiting decisions. Some schools are already having curriculum fairs for next year! |
|
She can formally “present” her recommendations to the School Board on January 8th, but they really should be made public well in advance of the January 10th public hearing. The fact that she hasn’t committed to doing so is another indication the wheels have come off her bus and she just wants to ram through her BS boundary changes and be done with it. What a fiasco. |
Grumble grumble, Sandy Anderson, grumble grumble. |
