She’s done with Singapore this Friday and has like a month off - that will be a good test. Both off and no distractions

Taylor never has no distractions. And honestly after she played house with the blond boy for years I think she should!

No distractions? Her new album is dropping!

So Taylor "debuted" a song from the Reputation TV during an NFL documentary about the Patriots. Stuff like this is what makes me go "oh it's all fake, ok." Because... why? It's not like she's dating a guy from the Patriots or has any history with that team. It's just weird and extremely commercial in a way that makes me think the whole relationship is just about opportunism on all sides.

Yep. Same for her music rights given to NFL all season for commercials and social media. They’re paying her and her dad BIG BUCKS for this fake ship.

I understand other celebrities do this, but that’s to get famous or increase fame or rehab their image, etc. She needs none of that.

She might not need it but she does it. I mean she did it a lot when she was still building up her career too. But she still does it, and more frequently than other celebs. That's why you so often see stories about who she went to dinner with, where, plus high quality paparazzi photos that feature her full outfit. These are photo ops her team arranged to project a certain image and keep her in the news cycle. She will even ramp it up to promote an album or tour. This is why many of us sense there is at least a large element of the Kelce relationship that is PR based. It was just too perfect-- an opportunity to be on national TV on a weekly basis between the end of her US tour and the start of her internation tour, leading very nearly up to the Grammy's and the very carefully timed announcement of the new album?

Also, yes she can avoid being photographed. She gets followed but it's not Princess Diana level hounding. She's also got a full security team, a fleet of vehicles, and enough money to get her into lots of rich person places where she could enjoy privacy, especially for a date. Restaurants that will shut down or have private dining rooms, resorts and hotels that cater to private celebrities, etc. How do you think people like Jeff Bezos, Tom and Gisele, the Clinton's, the BRF, Lady Gaga, etc. function in the world? They use money and connections to access experiences without anyone looking. And most of those people have less money than Taylor.

If we see Taylor doing something that seems intimate and personal, it's because she wants us to see it. She holds all the cards here.

In Kansas City, Taylor and friends were dining in a private room with its own bathroom. Taylor chose to walk across the restaurant and past where the regular people were sitting to visit a different bathroom.

She knows what she’s doing and she wants attention.

Then she can say she doesn’t know how this happens and pretend to be mystified as to why there is “interest.”

When she wants to be out of the press, she’s out of the press.

I'm curious where you are getting this story? It's ultra-specific.

Page Six:

“At one point during the dinner, Swift requested to use the restroom, and instead of opting to use the one designated for the private room, she asked to go to the one in the main dining room, which alerted other customers that the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer was in their presence.

The restaurant just got really quiet and I think people were more so just really shocked that she was there,” Megan recalls. “The restaurant was pretty low-key that night.”

Swift was lead to the bathroom by Colby, Rye’s James Beard Foundation award-winning chef, and her security team, so fans weren’t able to make their way toward the superstar.”

That is odd. I do think she chooses to be more public than necessary on purpose often.

It is likely there's an understanding with restaurants that she will let people know she's there. She's a major inconvenience actually (security, parking, etc.), so unless she's buying out the restaurant for the night and shutting it down, the least she can do is give the establishment a little publicity.

I wondered that too, though sometimes music rights for something like the NFL can happen at a much more impersonal level, so I wasn't sure how involved she was in those deals. But debuting a song from an album re-release in this fashion is extremely weird. Also the words Amendola uses in the "documentary" while the song is playing -- it's clear there's the high level of synergy and some thought went into using that specific song at that point and Amendola might even have specifically been referencing it.

It comes off as very gross to me.

They could be married with 3 kids and some of you whackos will still be claiming it's a fake relationship.

But they... are not? I do think if they got married and had kids, many people who are now skeptical about their relationship would concede that it's "real." But they are not married, or engaged. They don't have kids. They are dating and many aspects of their dating relationship are weirdly commercial and public. Maybe that's just an outgrowth of these being very public people in performance-oriented fields. Or maybe it's a fake relationship designed to help Kelce break into acting/entertainment while expanding Swift's already huge audience and market strength by aligning her with the NFL.

Only time will tell. I personally think it's as crazy to assume they are truly and really in love, as it is to assume it's a fake relationship set up by a PR team. We actually have no idea either way.

I think he may be gay. That bachelor buddy of his going everywhere with him. These men are mid 30s, it’s very strange to be that age traveling and always hanging out with a “buddy”.

Football is a dying sport among middle class and upper middle class American families; especially millennial mothers who refuse to let their kids play due to head trauma. The motives to get Swift aligned with the NFL are obvious. The league’s success long term relies on Swift’s fans letting their kids play the sport.

Sometimes the sounds of hooves is actually a horse.

Taylor Swift doesn't need "expanding" of anything. Literally no expansion needed. You almost can't be bigger. She has zero incentive to do anything that will create "more" for her. Especially this route. She's a business woman who manages a billion dollar business basically. This is nothing for her in the greater scheme of it. Any audience she got from football is peanuts. She got more criticism than anything positive from football. She holds all the power here, and she's just not getting anything close to a return on investment to merit this being a fake relationship.

I'm a fan of his, and certainly he has his eye on retirement in the next few years, and yes, he might benefit from this. But watching them, I just feel like you can't fake it. They both seem to genuinely light up around each other. He's a bit cringey at times (not the sharpest knife in the drawer for sure) but they seem genuinely happy.
